The Basic nursing program curriculum begins with biomedical and social science courses taken as prerequisites to the clinical component of the program. Freshmen entering UB as nursing majors should complete the prerequisite courses during the first two years of study while fulfilling the University's General Education requirements.
Students entering with transfer credit from other institutions may have already satisfied some of the nursing prerequisites and/or general education requirements. Equivalent courses may be found at http://taurus.buffalo.edu while courses not yet articulated in Taurus can be submitted to Transfer and Articulation Services at taurus@buffalo.edu.
